So Bear and I are currently shopping for a maid or housecleaning service. Not something regular but someone to come by maybe every couple months to few times a year to help us and our busy schedules out. We have so little time on the weekends together we are thinking the value of our time is worth the money.

I feel almost….ashamed to post that though. I was raised by a phenomenal woman who spent her days cooking and cleaning AND working full-time. Our house was always spotless and I have definitely gotten a watered down version of her cleanliness gene. So I guess I question why I can’t just do it myself? Then there’s just the uncomfortable idea of having someone else have to clean up my mess.

We’ve pretty much decided to go ahead with one but it’s not without a little reticence on my part.

Anyone have thoughts on the topic?
