Volunteer Blog it On – Lend a Paw
I feel like I’ve been away forevs! San Diego was a pretty long vacay and work has been nuts but I shall catch up with you, Google Reader. Soon.

You should adopt one. Or four. It would be the best decision of your life. If you can’t adopt right now, you can spend May 1 volunteering at your local shelter. And if you’re not able to do that, just go in and pretend like you want to adopt a big dog and then take a whole bunch of them out for “test walks”. They need it.
Think that’s where I’ll be this Sunday – the HSPCA. I haven’t spent nearly enough time there since my training. Maybe I will split my time between the puppies and kitties….because I can never choose. I want them all! Like 10 of each. Costco style.

Aww, I want a puppy so bad, but I travel all the time and it wouldn’t be fair.
Definitely something I want to do soon though.
I’m actually going to Disney World next week, and I’m totally with you about the princess hair. Jasmine’s in particular–that shit was crazy.
i wanna go to disney world!! they have the harry potter world come out in june…i’m definitely going after. teehee.
and i hear ya on the travelling – that’s why we got cats. but the very next is a puppy.
I wish I could have a dog but it wouldn’t be fair to them, living in a third floor apartment with no fenced in backyard
and uncertainties about working situations blah blah blah…
Dogs are the best!!!! Sigh…
Also, I think Disney gave me unrealistic expectations about wealth and stomachs. Even if I weighed under 100 pounds I would NEVER have a flat belly!!! haha

i hear ya – but go to the shelter and grab one or some kitties for “test runs” just to get them out of their cages for a bit. ugh, the word ‘cages’ makes me shudder.
i’m all for adopting dogs…lots and LOTS! too bad for me, my dog omar doesn’t get along with others. so sad. and no…i can never volunteer b/c i get too sad at shelters. it’s torture for me not to walk out with each and every one of those homeless animals. i love animals too much.
anyway, happy sunday! love that disney hair thing. cracks me up!
