save the date
Hi! Been uber busy with moving into our house (eek! OUR house!) and getting everything set up. I’m eager to have everything decorated and furnished so we can have a housewarming but I’m also trying to slow myself down with only necessities now so there’s still more to do later…and to enjoy the process. Thanks for all the great feedback on the before and afters…I’ll post more soon. Once there are no more moving boxes in the house.
But we’ve also been chugging away at the wedding planning and the big thing this month was getting out the Save the Date postcards. We used our pictures from the Engagement Shoot and put a fun twist on it. Love the way they came out…and Bear did a fabulous job on the website as well.
What do y’all think?

5 Ways Blogging Can Save Your Sanity
They look amazing!! I can’t wait to put it on my fridge and starting shopping for my wedding outfit. Love you both
Too fabulous for words! You guys are the cutest.
I’ve been out of the blogging loop for too long, I completely missed this! So I just want to say CONGRATS!!!!!!! And you look gorgeous!
Hooray on the house! Do you love it?
And your post cards are darling! What a fabulous idea!
Soo cute and original!! How exciting! Things will definitely start seeming in overdrive soon (if they aren’t already with the crazy amount of stuff you have going on.) I’m excited to see the house and hope to become more than just internet buds!
And thank you so much for your sweet comment the other day. We are doing pretty well about it and honestly I’m just relieved that everything is over and done with. Not the outcome I wanted at all but the waiting and time it took saws the hardest. Fingers crossed that next time is soon, healthy, and successful.
Hahaha just noticed the wedding website. LOVE IT.
It looks even better in real life! x
Thanks everyone!
Your save the dates and website look great. I am also recently engaged and in the process of wedding planning. It is all so overwhelming and expensive especially since it’s an Indian wedding. Have you felt this? Do you have any tips on how to save money? My wedding will also be in Austin. Most of my friends (Indian and American) have had their weddings in hotels, I’ve looked into that a little bit but it seems so expensive and some don’t let you bring outside food in. I would want to cater from an Indian restaurant. Thanks in advance for your advice.
Shreya, I am so sorry that I only just saw this comment. Please email me if you’re still having questions – I realize this is months ago but if I can still help, would love to!
